OK. In a way you're making an extremely important point. Memory is fallible. It can be sharp with some events, dull with others.
I can remember the place in NYC, year, living room, wallpaper, hair color, eye color, name, furniture arrangement, cologne and faking him out by telling him I had a seizure coming on (hey I was 19 with 3 years of drama classes and a good imagination, LOL) so he'd let go of me and let me leave...which he did. I only told one good friend and that was that. Learned a big lesson in trust that night.
