Her recollection of this event differs markedly from mine.
I am very sad about my shameful behavior and boorishness and request her forgiveness.

Alas, none of that is possible. He must now either win flat out or be a unrepentant liar and sexual predator.

I think the important issue is not whether the event happened or not but whether something a person did as a high school student disqualifies him for the Supreme Court. Is he a well qualified candidate whose ideology fits that of the president appointing him (which is the main factor in appointing justices).
