Why would they 1) be coziing up to them and 2) giving them free shit if they weren't under investigation? Why would Gillum lie about them being from his brother if he didn't think it was wrong to take them from undercover FBI guy? Dude is a crook. His local government is filled with them. 2) They did not give him a free ticket, they traded it for a Beyonce Ticket.
3) Why evidence do you have that he lied about anything.
He was friends with an FBI agent (I am friends with several of them) and they traded tickets. Happens among friends all the time.
