I own "really nice ones with polished and checkered walnut stocks" too. I also own a few of "the shit that I was given "in service to my country," In fact, it was the "shit" I used in competitions that functioned smoothly and performed highly accurately. Maybe you should have learned how to use them properly. The "really nice ones with polished and checkered walnut stocks" won't make you any more proficient.

Why? The claim is about the number of guns. Other countries that have fewer guns per 1000 people are safer, some are more dangerous. Here in this country we are not safer now when gun ownership is climbing among certain segments (the right wing). In fact, we are becoming less safe.
