Trump didn’t say what the military would be ‘shooting’, did he. I assume the military has rubber bullets and/or projectiles designed to control crowds. The rhetoric is designed more for caravan consumption. Look for their numbers to drop even more before they arrive.

In the long run it’s more humane than encouraging future caravans.
