Did Trump pull a fast one on Mullet?

The main takeaway from this thread is how the rwnj goofballs are all cheering at the idea of Trump sidestepping justice, with the possibility of his guilt not even entering their minds.

Even if Trump is guilty, they all want him to get away with whatever crimes he might have committed.

The game plan looks simple to me. Whitaker gives Rosenstein and Mueller their walking papers. Whitaker then resigns and someone else is nominated and confirmed. The nothing burger investigation goes away as it should.

Then Whitaker and Trump BOTH get charged with obstruction.

lol.....you're still hoping they are saying something.......you people are going to be so disappointed.......

They are due for sentencing in the next couple of months,,

Do you think Trump changed in 2016? He's been a liar and a cheat his whole life...

Do you think he changed when he decided to run for president?

Whitacker won't be confirmed......

Whatever you are imagining, Omar, you are off kilter.

That's fine. That's what we have judges for.

However, if you believe Trump is truly innocent, you would have no trouble letting Mueller continue.

This isn’t my opinion—I’m just parroting Jonathan Turley. Turley isn’t a right wing pundit but a respected legal scholar.

And I think Turley is right. Contrary to what many lefties think, Mullet isn’t some sort of lone actor that can do anything he damn well pleases. Mullet is constrained by whatever authority is vested in his position as SP. Formerly, his actions were authorized by Rosenstein—Mullet reported to Rosenstein: Rosenstein had to approve of funding; he had to approve of Mullet’s angry democrat lawyers before Mullet could bring them on board etc etc.

Regarding that, Rosenstein shouldn’t have allowed Mullet to bring Clinton donors on board for the investigation. That’s bullshit. Investigators are supposed to be unbiassed. It’s Rosenstein’s fault Trump is *rightfully* calling it a Witch Hunt. If it quacks, it’s a duck.

If you are more interested in justice than in ‘stopping Trump’ you should be glad Rosenstein is out of the picture.

Turley is wrong, and he will step back sooner than later.

The only reason Mullet was acting under Rosenstein was because Sessions recused from everything Russian.

Sessions is gone, so Mullet reports to the acting AG. You can’t make up new rules as you go. Wait, what am I saying.

We have some serious government corruption.

Mueller can only report to an accredited principal ratified by the Senate.

That is Rosenstein not Whittaker. Whittaker will be gone shortly without doing anything.

That’s up to a judge to decide lol. It’s an unprecedented act so it can probably be taken to court either way.

Will it suck if Mullet is in limbo until the Senate confirms an AG?

one of the potential squealers was already sentenced....he got thirty days.....meanwhile Mueller said he was going to wind things up after the mid terms......guess what?.......they are over......as for lies, if Trump ever lies as much as the JPP lib'ruls I will pay attention.....

Omar is flatly wrong about who decide to whom Mueller reports, as that already is a fact that he reports to an appointed principal (only Rosenstein is available at this point).

Sad Pimp is a nad wimp and will never pay real attention to real facts.

I thought most of Mueller's team were Republicans like Mueller?

Assuming the court would recognize that.

Whitaker is the defacto AG and he hasn’t recused. If you go by the book [the constitution] Mullet derives his authority from the AG. I’m starting to get the idea that’s why democrats want him to recuse.

Idiot, Sessions recused and Mueller still had power.

Are you ignoring the 32 indictments? Mueller and Rosenstein are Republicans. They just put the country before party.
