No one in their right mind thinks giving those that refuse to do for themselves another person's money will motivate the poor to do better. Are you saying giving someone more than they can earn with the skills they offer will cause them to do better?

Those that refuse to do for themselves should be ignored. If they don't care enough about themselves to do for themselves, they're are worth the investment. It's a waste of money.

Nothing evil about letting those that refuse to support themselves do without. It's a helluva lot better motivator than giving them something they didn't earn. At least they'll be getting what they earned. The smart ones will figure out to not be lazy. We won't have to be bothered with the stupid ones anymore.

I don't quite get your point but for every increased dollar business pas to get them closer to what they need to feed and house their family, is one dollar less in the tax money they get to whats needed to feed them and keep a roof over their heads.

Not anywhere close to how it works. However, anytime you want to prove your claims of caring for those that refuse to do for themselves, reach into your pocket and buy their clothes, pay their rent, fund their healthcare, and feed THEIR children. Their wants are their responsibility.
