The Canadian government pays less than the US government, per capita, for healthcare. And, Canada gets universal care for its money.

All other things being equal, moving to a Canadian-style universal healthcare system would save the US government money. It's Republican bullshit that the US can't afford universal healthcare. It costs more not to.
