59% support AOC's plan to raise top bracket to 70%

LV426 (aka nut-bag) doesn't stand for anything, he is just mad Hillary lost, so whether it is tax cuts, or border walls, or trade deals or whatever, Trump gets to pick what side of the argument he falls on.

must suck to be so triggered :rofl2:

LV426 is a taker. He expects us taxpayers to support him. He believes we owe him a living, for whatever reasons because he's too damn lazy to support himself.

Ah, so you've abandoned any economic or fiscal argument in favor of a purely emotional one.

Toby

I have always based my position on tax policy on moral grounds not economic ones. Trying to argue tax policy on purely economic grounds is senseless on both sides of the argument. There are too many things that go into our economy of which tax policy is one part. Yes it has an impact, but as I said it is only one part of the equation.

anyone can cherrypick data points to make their argument, it is an intellectually lazy tactic

Of course being who you are, it isn't surprising that you are intellectually lazy

Toby, I am happy with my life. You obviously are not. You are so worried about what others make you aren't focused on improving your own lot in life

Sounds to me that you've been such an underachiever in your life, to gain confidence you go on message boards and try to pretend others are less successful than you, so you can gain comfort with being a loser.

SNORE!

You can't make an economic or fiscal argument in favor of your policy, so you try and shift the conversation to one of emotional hysterics. The reason is because you're an emotionally hysterical person.

Try smiling more.

What data did I cherry-pick and how did I cherry-pick it?

I merely said that when Obama let the Bush Tax Cuts for the rich expire, the deficit was reduced by $400B and revenues grew by $325B, which was the largest single yearly revenue increase ever, according to the data.

Nope. I am asking you if you do?

I will understand if you obfuscate Toby.

Do you need to look that word up?

Of course I don't support it!

It was a mistake then, and it's a mistake now.

So what point are you trying to make? You're the one who is arguing for bubble-creating tax cut policies.

Eisenhower's 90% top marginal rate bought America a state-of-the-art interstate highway system

don't forget that goobs

From 1946-1981, the top tax rate was between 70-94%.

Over that period, poverty was reduced down to a low of 11%.

Over that period, we built the highway system.

Over that period, we built the middle class.

Over that period, we created Medicare and expanded Social Security.

Over that period, we put a man on the moon.

Conservatives hate all that.

You are incorrect. Your numbers are wrong

right wingers have been trained to love their gruel and fight fight fight to make the wealthy wealthier

More insidious is that Conservatives have been trained to lie.

40 years of lying has turned their brains into mush.

So now they have to defend Trump because they've gone all-in.

In about 5 years, they'll all pretend they never heard of Trump.
