Well, you can just look at the link I gave and you'll see revenue grew by $325B from 2012-2013, which was the highest amount of revenue growth...ever for one year:
2012: $2,450.0
2013: $2,775.1

Previous to the Trump Tax Plan, which was really Paul Ryan's tax plan, Democrats and Republicans alike wanted to reduce the rate at which Commerce was taxed.
With several hundred thousand pages of Tax Code that allowed loopholes for corporations to literally skirt paying any taxes at all superseded the tax-rate anyway.
What was needed, was a combined lowering of Tax rates for commerce, and throwing the loopholes completely out of the tax code.
But, the individual tax payers got fucked with the Trump Tax Plan, as it lowered the rates for Commerce substantially, without lifting any of the loopholes that were already allowing 1 out of every 4 corporations in America to pay "0" in taxes- basically putting the tax burden off on the working class.

When Obama let the Bush Tax Cuts for the rich expire at the end of 2012, revenues grew by more than at any other point in modern American history.
$325B growth (+13%) in revenues in just one year from simply letting the top rate go back to 39.6% from 35%. Just imagine how much revenue we'd collect if we went up to 70%!
