I know reading comprehension isn't your strong point but he made a sweeping statement in all his posts... "if the woman chooses to do so, it is her body. Are you saying a woman shouldn't have control over her body?

I actually really do not care about Melania's pictures, and am not willing to invest time even thinking about it.

But I am pretty sure I can guarantee you that a Democratic first lady of the United States will never pose for pornographic pictures.

I think it comes down to perceptions of gender roles. Conservatives seem to be comfortable with women making sandwiches, baking cookies, taking care of infants, or parading around nude.

But they seem to really get upset when first ladies give an opinion on substantive issues. Hillary Clinton seemingly caused conservatives to become apoplectic for daring to bring her knowledge and capabilities to the table on the health care debate of the early 90s.

I can guarantee that no one would want a Democratic first lady in the past 75 years to have done so. Let's look at the options. Wookie Michelle, Hillary, Rosalyn Carter, Lady Bird Johnson, Bess Truman, and Eleanor Roosevelt.

I have no problem with anyone giving an opinion on substantive issues. Unlike you, I look at what it said rather than automatically supporting it because it's a Democrat.

SF made no exceptions in his statements. He didn't think it through when he started commenting; he just kept repeating about women having control over their own bodies. Give it up already, you can't make his statements say what you want them to say.

If the woman chooses to do so, it is her body. Are you saying a woman shouldn't have control over her body?
If a woman chooses to do so, do you think it wrong?
are democrats suggesting a woman can't choose to do what she wants with her body?
So... are you suggesting women not be allowed to do what they want with their own body?
who are you to tell them what they can and can't do with their bodies?

My main issue with Melania's pics is that I don't like to see any women degrade themselves for money. She wasn't doing a tasteful photo shoot for a glossy, it was soft-core porn. Yes, she has a perfect right to pose however she wants; I just wonder what drives any woman to do this.

My other issue is the conservative hypocrisy on the subject.

Once again, my replies were to you, not SF....he mentioned nothing about choices they ‘should have if they are pregnant....so,you give up;) I'm not having a ‘discussion about his posts...not sure why you're mentioning them....

Pro-CHOICE means that women have the right to CHOOSE what to do with their bodies. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
