MILLIONS will be hit with TAXES due to UNDERPAYING for 2018 TAX CUT (TOLD YAH!)

Look, if your tax burden goes-up in spite of tax cuts and the doubling of the standard deduction, then you screwed-up your taxes. You are seriously a fucking idiot. Leftists get elected to offices in America because there are people as dumb as you that Darwin has failed to catch-up with.

No, the problem is that you supported the Russia Tax Cut without thinking through the implications of it. It's not just me who is unhappy, millions of Trumpanzees are unhappy too. So if your campaign is to tell voters who support Trump that they're stupid, be my guest. See how that strategy plays out for you electorally.

Nothing was eliminated, you fucking idiot. There was a cap set on mortgage deductions, but it was set at $750,000.

Yes, deductions and exemptions were eliminated.

If your deductions and exemptions totalled more than $24K in any given year, you got screwed by this.

Telling your fellow Trump voters that they're stupid isn't a strategy that is going to win in 2020.

SALT deduction have a cap, because the purpose was to get rich people in blue states to pay their fair share. Now they will.

No, the purpose was to use the Russia Tax Cut to turn people against their own states, which is weird, because you're the ones who are all about states doing things on their own.

Good luck in 2020 telling your fellow Trumpanzees that they're too stupid to see the benefit of raising their tax liability. Good work.

I am a carpenter and wood floor contractor. 30 years experience. A total expert

Which has nothing to do with real estate sales.

You're a contractor, not a realtor, so your "trades" isn't a trade publication, it's not even the sector of housing that has anything to do with home prices.

You're just a contractor. Not someone who knows about the housing market.

You always struck me as someone who would throw a party on April 15th because you wanted to celebrate paying your taxes, now you're all butthurt because your tax "burden" has gone up? When did it become a burden? From what I can deduce, your precious refund is going to go down, not disappear. My tax burden(and I do consider a large portion of it to be a true burden)is going to be lower and after I pay this year, I'm still going to need to take a few showers and curl up with a bottle of scotch. So relax, these tax cuts expire in 2025, and you got 500 demorats running for president next year that want nothing more than to raise taxes. Let's see how that goes

I told you how the burden went up, and I even used average numbers from past tax seasons to prove my point.

You're the ones who promised this would be all sunshine and rainbows, and now refunds are 8% smaller than last year.

You think people are dumb enough to believe that because you cut the marginal rate temporarily that your tax burden also was decreased. Or maybe you're dumb enough to believe it. Who knows? You said yourself that you hadn't done your taxes yet, so you don't even know what your liability actually is.

That pleases meYou should be happy too. I always hear leftists say they don’t mind paying more in taxes. You should be thrilled

So what started out as a tax cut you pitched that would have universal benefit has devolved into a petty game of politics.

So thanks for admitting there's no economic or fiscal ground for your argument to stand on...you're just playing the politics of pettiness because your policy sucks and you know it.

Oh so completely wrong! I have no idea how this thing came to pass. Did it get voted on? I suppose so, but I wonder how many democrats voted for it. Believe me, I never thought about how it affected YOU, or anyone else for that matter.

Right, because you're a sociopath.

And now you're trying to walk back your support for this dumb thing now that so many of your fellow Trumpanzees are mad.

Well, you don't get a lifeboat here. You are stuck with this Russia Tax Cut and all the fallout of it.

Good luck in 2020...you're gonna need it.

You guys are clearly doing your taxes wrong if you're getting less or having to pay. Why don't you just take advantage of the new private jet deduction?

"They" can take a private jet deduction (when they can't take a taxpayer PAID FOR government jet) but I can't write off my GARAGE which has work shit on racks piled up 8 feet.

I am a little confused by that. If you are a business you can write off quite a bit within reason.

Conservatives knew this would be the result of their Russia Tax Cut, and attacked us for accurately predicting this handout to the wealthy.

Tax revenues for 2018 were less than 2017.

So not only did the Russia Tax Cut raise most taxpayers' liability, it also starved the Treasury of revenue so that we collected less in 2018 than 2017.

Conservatives said their trickle-down would pay for itself in increased revenues from increased economic activity.

SPOILER ALERT: It didn't.

I think I posted 250 posts ago, this was about ARITHMETIC. Not even fancy math. DEDUCTIONS, PERSONAL EXEMPTIONS, THRESHOLDS of income. Some will win, some will hold static and some will lose! And a whole BUNCH are GOING TO BE SURPRISED!

And we'll have a damn good idea BEFORE APR 15.

It NEVER TRICKLED DOWN! Ask Stockman.

We predicted this would happen back in December 2017, but Conservatives insisted that everyone's incomes would rise by $4K-$9K.

Right, because you're a sociopath.
Really wish you guys would look up the definition of that word. Am I a sociopath because I don't give a rat's ass how you prepare your taxes? Do you give a rat's ass how I prepare my taxes? If you do, cut it out, sociopath!
And now you're trying to walk back your support for this dumb thing now that so many of your fellow Trumpanzees are mad.
When the fuck did I ever try to walk back my support for a tax cut?! I'm hoping for another one!
Well, you don't get a lifeboat here. You are stuck with this Russia Tax Cut and all the fallout of it.
Don't want a "lifeboat", didn't ask for one. And please...please, stick me with more "russian" tax cuts! I gladly accept all of the fallout from them, which is...tax cuts. BTW, you never answered my question about why you call this a russian tax cut. Russians don't have tax cuts
Good luck in 2020...you're gonna need it.
What are you guys gonna run on? Higher taxes? Good luck in 2020...you're gonna need it.

No, you're a sociopath because your justification for this Russia Tax Cut devolved into a game of pettiness. You couldn't and can't defend the economics of the Russia Tax Cut, so you migrate your argument to one of selfishness. But that's wildly different then how you all were pitching the tax cut in December 2017.

So you've changed your argument because every promise you made before turned out to be a lie, so what was a universal good, has become "I'm glad others are being hurt."

When the fuck did I ever try to walk back my support for a tax cut?! I'm hoping for another one!

You walk it back by trying to make the excuse that other people are just too dumb to appreciate you raising their tax liability.

This comes after lying about it affecting your 2017 taxes (it didn't take effect until 2018).

The Russia Tax Cut resulted in less revenue collected in 2018 than 2017; so you lied when you said it would pay for itself.

The Russia Tax Cut was supposed to raise wages by $4K-$9K; so you lied when you said it would raise wages by that much.

The Russia Tax Cut was supposed to stop companies from outsourcing and offshoring; so you lied about that since companies are still outsourving and offshoring.

The Russia Tax Cut was supposed to provide for bonuses and benefits increases; so you lied about that since bonuses were $0.02 and no benefits were increased.

Rather than own up to that, you have chosen to make the argument that everyone else is too dumb to appreciate that you've raised most of their tax liabilities.

What are you guys gonna run on? Higher taxes? Good luck in 2020...you're gonna need it.

A majority of people support a 70% bracket and a wealth tax, including a majority of Republicans.

Your Russia Tax Cut is less popular than Obamacare.

Also, if your Russia Tax Cut was so great, how come none of you ran on it in 2018?

I posted from the get go last year this was going to happen. Just wait. This wasn't rocket science. IT HAPPENED BEFORE! Bush's tax cuts 'we're 'giving' you your refund early' scheme was fairly paltry $300 for a single person or $600 for the average family. Remember? (They were were quasi-honest and called it a 'REBATE' but how many understood that?) Millions were surprised when they got nothing back or owed after that round.

This is bigger! They changed the deductions and exemptions. TRUMP promised over and over and over on AVERAGE $4000 SAVINGS PER HOUSEHOLD. Assuming they got $4000 savings throughout the year BUT eliminated many deductions and 'tinkered' with the exemptions THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!

The ONLY question is to how many! We will know before April 15. Maybe only the 'early filers' are mostly getting shocked and 'awed'. But my bet is on MILLIONS being surprised, pissed even OUTRAGED. Anyone wanna take bets?

Fact is if you have done your taxes the last few years and got a refund, and now you have done nothing different and you are getting a smaller refund, you are not happy. You know what the Trump tas "cut" has actually done to your finances.

if you aren't smart enough to know that its the Total Tax line instead of the Refund Due You line that matters, you probably shouldn't be doing your own taxes........
