He wants to go back to the Clinton-Bush-Obama model of negotiating with NK since it was so ‘productive’ lol.

So, Trump walks away. Kim gets to live with the sanction regime. It’s only a loss for the US in the sense that no agreement was reached. And if one wants to keep a score card—Kim lost this round because he’s the one with the sanctions on him and he failed to get them lifted.

Thankfully, this is not the end of it.

He thinks Trump boarded Air Force One, on a whim, with no input from underlings who have been talking to the North Koreans lol. Probably heard the girls on The View talking about it.

That said, Trump’s approach to diplomacy IS unconventional. Which is exactly why it might work. The lefties want to think this is The End but getting up from the table and walking off is a negotiating tactic.

Trump didn’t give up anything and didn’t gain anything but we’ll have to see where it goes from here.

He's stated many times that walking out is an essential option in any negotiation. Three previous presidents have had a crack at it and got nowhere.

Well, Kim lobbing his practice nukes over the Sea of Japan is not ‘nowhere’ lol.

The NK situation festered for almost two decades under several presidents. Trump has taken it head-on and he deserves credit for that much at least.

Not that he would ever get it.
