I wouldn't be surprised if they had statues of them made in San Fran, or UC Berkeley campus. I'm sure they are loved and adored there.

Removing celebrations of your favorite nation state is not the same thing as erasing history books. No one will ever forget that you lost a war to America.

History is history, the civil war means something different to some people than others.
Southerners , some, still view it as a people standing up for their independence. That the North was using money form the cotton crop to industrialize Northern States ignoring the farmer.

do yourself a favor, go read a book, this countries history is awash with a multitude of triumph as well as bad decisions, confusion, coming together. in a word "History"

If you don't love America, you can always get the fuck out. Even though your preferred country hasn't existed since 1865, there are places you could go. Either way, lying about it is pathetic. History is not being erased, and the reasons for secession are not subject to change.
