Read it and think about it related to Obama. That's someone elected that definitely wasn't "endowed with the requisite qualifications". That is unless you're willing to admit you believe being black is a qualification.

The electors represent their respective states and each state is assigned a certain amount of votes based on its population.

Seems fair enough. And it’s not ‘broken’ simply because democrats stubbornly refuse to moderate and/or make their message more appealing to the ‘fly-over states’ which they openly despise.

Trump will be challenged in the primaries. There's already Bill Weld and I fully expect Romney to run. But if it comes down to, say, Kamala Harris and Trump I suspect moderate republicans have to make a decision also unless they vote third party, like I've done since 2000. And when it comes down to it most moderate repubs will vote for Trump in the privacy of the booth but will not admit it to pollsters or anybody else (IMHO).
