U.S. Adds 196,000 Jobs in March; Unemployment at 3.8%

What exactly did Obama do? What laws got passed to improve the business environment for example?

Didn't he oversee the bailout and singlehandedly saved the auto industry? And then it was the ACA. That supposedly helped the economy. Green shovel ready jobs was one of the narratives floating in the bowl. Didn't he spend a bunch on infrastructure? Whatever he did wasn't harmful to economic conditions and the same can be said for Trump. I'm having my best years ever since Trump was elected. Finally bought a house (it's a turd, but it's mine) and I have more work than I can handle.

It's just plain silly to look at historically low figures and still claim there is a problem. Silly with hatred.

Just read that 3/4rs of the new jobs were created in California, in spite of a higher minimum wage and all those crazy lefties. Business will flee if the Min wage is lifted. Yeah, right.

Why do you think all the new jobs would be minimum wage? Talk about tunnel vision!

That was in February. Basically 15,000 jobs were filled in CA. Low paying, unskilled, menial, well, Democrat qualified for jobs.

I give Rump credit for not fucking up the amazingly strong trajectory set when Obama was president.

How can it be, though? For sure Trump is an idiot? How can an idiot keep it going unless it doesn't matter what the president does? Obama didn't build that. It just happened on his watch just like with Trump.

Here is the problem Tin. Working people notice the better economic state of the country between Obama and Trump. Non working, part time working, or welfare collecting assholes do not see a difference. Obviously right?

I'm with you on the non working and the welfare class, but part time workers should be able to notice if they're looking. I was underemployed for a decade in the 1990s to 2000s and never saw any increase in my field during the big tech boom. But now I'm seeing big growth because investing moved back into real estate after all the tech investing reached peak.

Fair enough! And congratulations on your home!

Well, the thread is aimed at implying that Trump is the main reason the economy is humming, and I was just pointing out that that is not the way Americans seem to be precieving it using favorability numbers as evidence. As I explained, how often has any President enjoyed a healthy economy and still had favorability numbers so low?

Thread is not about the economy per say, but the Trumpkins rush to attribute the positive economy to Trump

It is "aimed at implying"? I read the OP and it did not even mention Trump.

Agreed. And we should give Obama credit for not fucking up the economic recovery from the recession--the economy had no place to go but up. It is silly to give any president too much blame or credit for the economy.

Did I say that? Nope. I said the the rightys claimed it was going to have companies flee to cheaper states. Are all companies paying Min Wage? I don't believe so. You are off the rails again. Talk about the inability to follow a discussion. Fact is higher min wage states are producing more jobs and enhancing the tax revenues. And California is responsible for 3/4rs of the jobs that Trump claims he created.

:lolup:Moron thinks it's Obama.

From your link it shows job growth trending downward the last five years of Obamunsim you ignorant twat:

2013: 192,000 per month or 2.3 million
2014: 250,000 per month or 3 million
2015: 226,000 per month or 2.7 million
2016: 187,000 per month or 2.24 million

Trump’s through September:

2017: 182,000 per month or 2.19 million

The author of that article is as big of a moron as you are.

Ask Mott, it's a dump. I've got about 18K in renovations so far and it's still a turd. I'm going to install floors upstairs this weekend and maybe even sand and finish them if I can avoid the urge to lounge around. This will be my first weekend off in three months. No work until wednesday! Woo Hoo! time to get the house done

I agree, except your claim that it had no place to go but up, it could have gotten a LOT worse.
