You know I can't figure out if MC CONNELL wants to be sure the REDACTED version is the ONLY version that makes it out or is terrified the ENTIRE version will come out and the BARR'S redacted and 'cleansed' version will cause an UPROAR.
I can see it now! WAPO and NYT and all the rest will have pages of the actual report, side by side with redactions and CHANGES on every screen in America. And/or they can PUBLISH the entire REPORT. Anyone old enough to remember the Pentagon papers? MITCH likes TRUMP about as much as the "TDS" brigade on this board. In fact probably LESS! But Mitch is up for reelection next year, HIMSELF, and his party owns this fucking fiasco.

‘Trump humiliated Mitch McConnell’: ‘there has never been a more powerless’
As the Wall Street Journal notes, all of Washington and, indeed the country, awaits the release of Attorney General Bill Barr’s reviewed and redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on President Donald Trump.
According to the report, attorneys for the president are at the same time preparing a rebuttal, whittling down a 140 pages long document that Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani indicated would come in at approximately 50 pages.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is frantic that nothing from the report — which is expected to be heavily redacted — be made public until Republicans are prepared to defend it and the embattled AG Barr.
According to the Journal, McConnell warned of possible leaks, saying, “Not only this administration but previous administrations have discovered that if they show everything up here, it has a tendency to get out.”
As for the Democrats, the Journal reports, “Lawmakers have begun making backup plans for obtaining withheld information. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D., N.Y.) has said he would issue subpoenas to obtain the unredacted report and underlying documents, putting Congress on track for a court fight with the Trump administration.”
