Scientists have established a link between religious fundamentalism and brain damage

Well, sometimes the truth hurts.

What? What the fuck are you talking about? Humans are animals? Well, yeah, we are. But unlike animals, we have free will, and aren't slaves to our animalistic roots.

But you're not.

Your lizard brain is dominant. Everything that is talked about in the OP applies to you.

Doesn't seem like you have any control over your base animal instincts.

I bet you shit where you eat.

Never fails; expose a liberal as a moron and they're triggered.

huff and puff post as some authority on Christianity? Of course this nation was not founded upon the "Religion" of Christianity.....it was founded upon the principles established under Blackstone who used the principles established under the Judeo Christian Philosophy. Establishing a STATE RELIGION would be contrary to that philosophy..as Christianity is based upon Choice not a State Mandate. Thus the 1st amendment free exercise and anti establishment clause existence where BIG BROTHER is forbidden from making any law that would deny FREE EXERCISE.

Religion is a personal choice.....but....there is nothing illegal with any person (Christian or otherwise) serving within the US government and retaining his/her personal rights of free speech. The very reason that Religion, Speech, and Press are addressed in the same bill of rights act.

No where does Adams declare that the United States is not a Christian Nation. Have you ever attempted to read and comprehend English within its context and content message? Quote: Your own evidence, "The GOVERNMENT of the UNITED STATES...is not.....(the government dumbasses) in any sense, is not founded upon THE RELIGION of CHRISTIANITY." -- John Adams.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commentaries_on_the_Laws_of_England Notice the quote even from Wikipedia...….Blackstone is referenced when asked about the FRAMING of the United States Constitution.

That Framework. 1. The rights of persons 2. the rights of things 3. of private wrongs 4. of public wrongs. Guess where this reference of these 4 basic tenets of US LAW came from? The Judeo Christian Philosophies....Blackstone argued that English Common Law was predicated upon God's Law.

Paganism isn't religion you dumb fuck.

Both words have developed broader and pejorative meanings over time, with pagan being used to mean “an irreligious or hedonistic person” and heathen “uncivilized” or “strange,” but their original meanings are still in use.

Yeah, Pagan is used to refer to irreligious people by ignorant high school dropouts. People who can read know that Pagans worshiped gods.

I keep seeing Conservatives try this new tactic of saying Christianity is a "choice" or something to that effect, and that's how they get around demanding others adhere to their dogma while not adhering to it themselves.

Yeah......presenting Christianity as a CHOICE is a new tactic. "And if it seems to you to serve the Lord is evil, CHOOSE FOR YOURSELVES WHOM YOU WILL SERVE, whether the gods that your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of Amorites in whose land you dwell (pagan Idols). But as for me and my house....we shall serve the Lord." -- Joshua 24:15

Correct me if I am wrong. I simply presented history actual. Its you that are attempting to make others "adhere" to your secular opinions. What a hypocrite. What? You don't accept the 1st amendment free exercise clause where freedom "of" religion is guaranteed not freedom "from" religion? Hell......you even misquoted the evidence that you presented. Again....show me where John Adams says, "The US is not a Christian Nation" as you pretended it said. Who started this thread? A Christian or a hypocrite?

You want to establish state religion for no other reason than to save Christianity from the free market of ideas that is clearly killing it.

State Religion? What part of the 1st amendment do you not comprehend? Are you a child? :palm: Just why do you assume this nation was created in the first place? This nation's founding is a direct result of those protesting STATE RELIGION in EUROPE...i.e., the protestant movement and migration to the new world to escape religious persecution. In Europe Catholicism was mandated as a state religion.....it was illegal for a lay person to even read from the Holy Bible, it was illegal for anyone to translate the Bible from Latin into common English...

The First States Bill of Rights..i.e, the 1st amendment makes sure that such a thing can never happen in the United States. In fact the personal letter from a Christian Minister to Jefferson was addressing such a topic....the preacher was afraid that his state would make everyone worship only one doctrine. Jefferson told him that was impossible according to the 1st amendment. His analogy was comparing the anti-establishment clause as a wall that guaranteed Freedom of Religion not freedom from religion.

You have just been arguing for the last three posts that the US is a Christian Nation.

It's clearly not, and the reason you keep arguing that is because you are trying to save Christianity by talking it up as integral to the nation because fewer people are turning to the church than ever before.

You: No state religion

Also You: The US is a Christian nation and look at how many founding fathers were Christian.

Derp derp derpy doo.

Again.....what part of common English can you not comprehend? I have been presenting history and facts....its you that have been attempting to force your opinion upon everyone else.

It is a Christian Nation....as the majority of US citizens and the majority of the Mexican Illegals are Christians by choice. There is no mandate to make you believe anything that you don't want to believe....unless you are potato head. In fact Christianity is the largest faith in the world. If a Christian gets drafted or volunteers to serve in the US military.....does that make the US Military obligated to follow Christian Doctrine? What an idiot. The 1st amendment is about personal freedoms....freedom that cannot be subject to any law legislated by government.

Experiments in quantum behavior have proven observation collapses wave functions and without an observer you can not talk about reality. Consciousness is intrinsic to reality. Otherwise, all you would have is potential. The current understanding of quantum physics has many believing we are a product of a grand unified consciousness... A supreme being/god that imagines the universe and imagines life through each of us. We are god's dreams

At least that's where the science has led us.

LOL funny, ain't it?

Sky daddy is old and busted
The new god is you and me and everything and we aren't even really here.
