Same here. The last thing I want is for trump to become a martyr because the Dems don't have all their ducks in a row.
 
The public is a big factor in whether a party will abandon their man. The trends for Trump are terrible. The people are rapidly moving away from him. The last 3 days he went from a solid no lead to approx. a tie. Bad trend for the thief in chief. Lots of Repubs would vote against him if they could. They know how deeply reds are into the conman. They do not want to lose their jobs. Politics is the business of being re-elected. Til now, sucking up to Daffy was a positive for that. Once they tally up the impact and find he is costing them votes, they will turn on him like he deserves.

In truth; what we are witnessing is repulsive. To think that a political party so upset about losing that it is willing to impugn the Presidency with NO proof, make a mockery of our institutions and take sides with our enemies is mind numbing. They truly have lost it and only a massive political slaughter in 2020 can bring them to their senses.

Also, unlike righty, I believe in the western liberal tenets of due process, deliberation, and procedure . Its not about cutting slack for a scumbag like trump, it is about respecting myself and honoring western liberal tradition.
