Depends who you believe, NOAA say that September 1998 was the warmest. I am trying to find the USRCN numbers for September 2019.

For September, the average contiguous U.S. temperature was 68.5°F, 3.7°F above the 20th century average, tying with 2015 as the second warmest September in the 125-year period of record. The warmest September on record occurred in 1998 and was 0.5°F warmer than in 2019. Record heat was observed across parts of the central and southern Rocky Mountains, the southern Plains, and portions of the Midwest and Ohio Valley. For the year-to-date, the contiguous U.S. temperature was 55.8°F, 0.8°F above the 20th century average, ranking in the warmest third of the January–September record.

Yeah......what about 140 years ago? Are you suggesting that man made global warming started 140 years ago? Why present information that confirms that this current warming cycle is nothing NEW and has been recorded before beginning 140 years ago....before the supposed trigger suggested by leftists:readit::dunno:.....INDUSTRIALIZATION?

What idiot denies Climate Change.....the climate has been changing since day 1? The supposed evidence you just presented actually contradicts the left wing talking point that Climate Change is driven by man made carbon production....when you declared that a warm Sept. is nothing unique to the weather cycle...it was recorded 140 years to be just as hot, while mankind was still in the infant stages of modern industrialization being transported via horse and carriage...and steam? :bigthink:
