Nope. Even if you're foolish enough to believe that there is no God, you can't argue that the revolutionary tenets of Christianity aren't responsible for the advancement of peace and prosperity.

If we define religions we don't like as cults in order to ban them, then we don't have freedom of religion. This is Fascist, so I'm sure a lot of Republicans want to do this, but it goes against American values.

The difference is that Islam isn't a group with central leadership. ISIS can be called a cult, the same way the Peoples Temple was a cult. But Islam and Christianity can't be considered cults because they're philosophies, not groups with central leadership.

A book isn't central leadership. People can interpret books however they want. That's why members of [insert any religion you want here] disagree on so many things. It's also why Protestantism has been much less oppressive than Catholicism.
 
The fact is Islam and Christianity are very much alike. They are businesses that are trying to increase their wealth and power. They each have sects that are violent and some that are crazy. An outsider wonders why you hate each other so much. Each one starts off propagandizing children in religious schools and endeavors to keep them involved in religion their whole lives with masses and meetings and classes. I don't know what you are arguing about.

The similarities are striking. The teachings are nearly identical.
