Bernie wins New Hampshire!

NO! If you've been paying attention to anything I've written, what I've said is that we have to increase turnout by concentrating our efforts on non-voters instead of bad faith voters.

Making the electorate pie bigger is what will wipe Republicans out and get representation in Congress that can actually get this done. Because I agree that one person themselves as President isn't going to get anything done so long as there's still Conservatism rampant in Congress.

NO BILLIONAIRE PRESIDENTS EVER AGAIN.

EVER.

AGAIN.

^Idiot thinks non-voters will vote.

I mean this shit only happened 10 years ago...it's not ancient history. We remember how the Democratic Party negotiated against itself for Obamacare, and we remember how the Democrats ran against that very bill just 7 months later.

We also remember how caving in and showing "moderation" and "bipartisanship" by agreeing to that awful Sequester didn't save the Democratic majority in the Senate in 2014.

The problem is because we keep listening to people who have been consistently wrong about the politics from the beginning. Every calculation, every triangulation they made was done to almost mimic what helped Clinton in the 90's. But what they failed to accept is that the 2010's were nothing like the 1990's, so the same calculations and conventional wisdom didn't apply. Not when the GOP became an intransigent party of fascists and criminals.

I don't think there will ever be a time when we will have "bipartisanship" in the spirit they want; instead, what we have is class warfare masquerading as "bipartisanship", and all the action in that class warfare is waged by the rich on everyone else...and who are rich people 100% of the time? Billionaires.

Translation: "I cant find any proof and besides, even if it exists, it's too much work for a delicate millennial flower like me. I'd have to have somebody do it for me like everything else."

I can't believe anyone would seriously consider a billionaire at this point.

BILLIONAIRES ARE THE PROBLEM.

Why does anyone want to give THE PROBLEM more power than they already have???

Sad watching people flock to an oligarch instead of standing with low wage and low income workers.

So if Bloomberg or O'Biden win, you will stay home with the non-voters?

WTF are you talking about?

So now you're going to deny that Clinton lost in 2016?

So now you're going to deny that we lost the Senate in 2014?

So now you're going to deny that we lost the House in 2010?

Have you not been paying attention the last ten years? Wake up, dude.

Prove it was due to the Party not being far enough to the left or STFU about it.

Apparently your little gay friend is as selfish and self centered as the rest of his/your generation, as he'd/you'd be willing to explode the federal budget and cause economic ruin to the rest of the country just for the sake of his/your own comfort and convenience.

Explode the federal budget, how? By taxing rich people more? How does that "explode the budget".

Exploding the budget would be like giving tax cuts to billionaires and corporations. Like what happened in 2018.

If he has to sew fewer drag queen costumes or whatever it is he does, in order to sell bicycles at the exorbitant salary of $15 an hour to pay for his insurance, then so be it.

So that's not a message that will get anyone to vote for your preferred candidate. This is what I'm talking about when I say moderation fails. It simply lacks the energy and enthusiasm to spur turnout.

I'm not sure why anyone would vote for someone who thinks young people should struggle just because.

I'm 62 y/o and with the exception of a few years in the 70's and a few years in the 90's, I've never even had health insurance.

Well lucky you that you didn't have any chronic illness or conditions that required treatment.

And frankly, you could have really used some mental health services.

So don't expect sympathy out of me for your delicate little flower of a friend's situation.

So vote for the guy or gal you want because...you have no sympathy. Can't wait to see how that gets the vote out!

Hey, no sympathy is also something you have in common with billionaires! Probably the only thing.

I don't know what planet you are living on; but here, boss's do not pick our healthcare plans. We, the people get to pick them. We even get choices.

The employer is the one paying for it - do you not think they influence the choices you're presented? Sorry, HR department, not boss then.

You seem to be defending a system that lets faceless bureaucrats choose your options for you. Because everyone knows you can trust the Government and bureaucrats who are only concerned about you when it is election time.

You and your doctor make the choices, the faceless bureaucrat pays the doctor. Also most bureaucrats, if any at all, don't run for office, they don't have an election time.

You're just as willing to trust faceless corporations. You can't stand the word "tax" but call it a co-pay, deductible, premium etc. on top of the monthly payments and you'll pay it without question.

I mean this thread has definitely dragged the Republican out of him; the same self-aggrandizing, self-important accommodation seeking.

Like, take a seat pal. You had your chance in 2016 and you blew it. You had your chance in 2014 and you blew it. You had your chance in 2010 and you blew it.

That's a lot of blowing.

Not as much blowing as your "coth-tume deth-igner" "friend".

Maybe he should start charging for that and give up the bike shop job.

You all truly are the entitlement mentality generation.

Yet you're the one who thinks that we should be thrilled with the entitlement of voting for "moderation" after losing those elections the last 10 years.

You've been so molly-coddled by your weak, kow-towing, helicopter parents that you can't function normally or deal with the hardships and harsh realities of adult life, so you have to have everything handed to you on a satin pillow so you won't have to be less than comfy.

It's a shame you had no health insurance because you could have really used some mental health services.

Most polls show Bernie edging out. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e...s/general_election_trump_vs_sanders-6250.html

Higher taxes on the mega rich and a progressive tax system for the rest? It sounds like a fair deal. It sounds like a New Deal. Conservatives complain that the poor are lazy. Wouldn't you want them to get a job? I want to know what Trump could possibly say on the debate stage to unsettle Bernie. Is he just going to bark communist and socialist throughout? Bernie isn't Biden. Bernie doesn't have that creepy grandpa vibe. The only 'scandal' of his I've seen involves something his wife actually did.

To paraphrase Lindsey Gramm: Bernie is the most honest man in the senate, he's crazy, but he's honest.

Well it turns out America just might prefer an honest man over a pathological liar, even if he's a socialist.

You said it all, when you said.
To paraphrase Lindsey Gramm: Bernie is the most honest man in the senate, he's crazy, but he's honest.

I will take a business man over a nut burger socialist any day.

Translation: "I cant find any proof and besides, even if it exists, it's too much work for a delicate millennial flower like me. I'd have to have somebody do it for me like everything else."

Again, not sure what is happening with you, maybe because you're old you're getting senile, but we all remember what happened in 2010 and 2014.

We all remember how Democrats ran against Obama and Obamacare in 2010, and we all remember how Democrats ran on the "bipartisanship" of the Sequester in 2014.

We all remember how Clinton got the nomination over Sanders, and how that election turned out.

We all remember that, so why are you choosing not to?

Not as much blowing as your "coth-tume deth-igner" "friend".

Maybe he should start charging for that and give up the bike shop job.

He does charge for that...the problem is that because we live in Georgia, access to health care is not like it is in blue states. So he needs the job because of the health care; otherwise, he wouldn't qualify for Medicaid, and he is in the Medicaid gap that exists in GA because Conservatives refuse to expand Medicaid.

So go fuck yourself.

Pathetic.

Are you kidding me? :whoa:

You're really 62 years old?

Again... prove that the losses by Democrats of Congressional majorities, something that we know happens to both parties on a regular basis for a variety of reasons, were due SPECIFICALLY to being too moderate and not liberal enough.

Obviously you cannot.
