That might be the same for other small towns in America...something not touted on network news. My thing is the numbers just don't jibe with this "it's 90% fatal!" mantra. This stuff has been in the general population for 6 weeks before our national health departments got their butts in gear.....by their reckoning, people should be dropping like flies by now. It's OVER-reaction.
One...I have NEVER heard the 90% fatal number anywhere...NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THAT. Chances are the rate will be less than 2%...even for old-geezers like me.
No problemo for the people who feel everything is being over-hyped. Go out and enjoy yourselves. Have parties,,,get-togethers. Send your kids to school...and church. Go to work...mingle with your co-workers.
Those of us who live in or near New York City have to be a lot more careful.
But there is nothing wrong with you guys who see no danger being more free-wheeling and care-free.
What could go wrong?
