Trump is ending his COVID-19 press conferences

If Trump can avoid jail (and that's a big if), he has it made when he leaves office. Remember when Kolfage conned the Trump rubes out of millions of dollars, and sat on the money and collected interest? Multiply that times 100. Trump TV, only 9.99 a month, or a full year subscription for 89.99. Sebastian Gorka, Stephen Miller, Rudy, KellyAnne, and the whole crew. Don Junior can come on and pitch his new book that the RNC is buying in bulk. These rubes can't wait to turn over their hard earned money to the carnival barker. And he can start charging for his rallies. He'd have been better off if he'd lost, he could have been pocketing that money for the last three years.

I read that Jared is starting his second book.He finished coloring the first one.

I might have if you had a decent argument to begin with.

So YOU cannot post a rational, mature, logical response to an OP, and it's the fault of the OP's author? That's akin to the stupidity of right wingnuts who have been following my threads and posts for years to tell me that they're not worth responding to.

Here's a thought, toodles….if you don't like a posters opinions or views, DON'T RESPOND TO THEM and/or PUT THEM ON IA. That's what I do …. saves a lot of space on a thread and spares you reading their blathering. Carry on.

It's not up to him, it's up to "We, the People". It's like Osama bin Laden. Isolate him on a mountain top and he was neutralized, harmless. Give him a lot of money to build a network of terrorists, and he was very deadly.

Same for Trump; he's an idiot, but the Constitution holds him in check. He says a lot of stupid shit, but actually does very little unless Congress lets him.

If the Democrats really want to get rid of Trump, they need to nominate a clearly superior candidate to unseat him. Right now they are just running retreads and hoping Americans get so pissed off at Trump that they default to the "D". That's not a good way to elect better leaders.

Dump is essentially the front man for the boys in the back room.....the military/corporate complex that needs a rubber stamp to get things the way they want 'em. Dump is all about ego and staying rich...and that's what he's got. If he becomes a liability, he's gone.

Dude, the MIC, military-industrial complex, died after Vietnam. What you see now is good, old-fashioned Congressional pork. There's more money to be made in peace than in war.

Naa-unnh, son. For quick reference; Cheney and Haliburton re: the bogus war in Iraq.

Haliburton is an oil company, son. Cheney, Bush and all their friends were oil men. Sane people know the military did not want a war in Iraq.

GMAFB! Now you're just being stubborn to the point of insipidness. Of course the culprit is going to give a version that puts itself in a good light. Here's the reality on the whole deal:

And when folk give childish retorts like you just did while avoiding the FACTS laid out in provided links, it displays to the objective reader the abject failure of your assertions/statements and your ability to support defend them. All you'll do now is just continue in this vein. Carry on.

I'm content to let the readers decide for themselves who makes the most sense. :)

The fact remains the "Military-Industrial Complex" meme is dead and has been dead since the 1970s. Business, and money, still rule, but it's not the same as your MIC conspiracy theory.

Haliburton built the trillion-dollar green zone embassy.

Again, my point. Not military hardware for going to war. Not the MIC Ike spoke about. That hasn't existed since Vietnam ended last century, 45 years ago.

BTW, the Democrats who supported downsizing the military and replacing them with civilian contractors. Get a grip on reality, it's great!

They have never made guns and bombs, but the military is so much more. We have always had civilian contractors. After WW2 . Trump had a committee and they scrutinized the military contractors and showed all how we were being cheated. That was his claim to fame that got him on the ticket with FDR., This is not new and my grip is fine.

Haliburton was a bigly military construction company with a huge presence in Iraq and Afghanistan.https://www.thenation.com/article/a...tary-industrial-boondoggle-youve-never-heard/

Dutchie is in the right wing wonk default mode...."hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" …. the "evil" being any documented, historically valid facts that disprove his beliefs and contentions.
