Target is big. More people can get in at the same time thus reducing the chance of law enforcement being able to control the
outcome......more chaos, the better. Go into a small mom & pop store makes it easy to be apprehended.
I was shocked they weren’t wearing masks or distancing, not smart at all.
He was convicted for the crime, what are we suppose to be outraged about, seems justice was served.
A little story:
My aunt and uncle were hard core lefties, in fact my Uncle was one of the top leaders of the Student Rebellion at UW Madison during the late 60's. Also, my aunt dropped a cinder block on my uncles foot so that he would not have to serve in the military (his number came up). They had lived in Milwaukee a bunch of years then around 1988 they moved to Minneapolis. They on purpose decided to move to an area with a lot of blacks, because they wanted diversity. They then watched over 20 years as the hood continued to decline. They were hardy people but finally they had to throw in the towel, they no longer felt safe....they sold their house for less than they paid for it on an inflation adjusted basis...they were heart broken. My aunt is still alive and still sad, because even she, a still very hard core lefty....believes that the blacks failed to take advantage of their opportunities to make their lives better.
I said yesterday in a different thread that the police started this problem with the blacks, but upon reflection I need to take it back. Minneapolis blacks going all the way back to the early 90's have failed to perform.

I've never seen so many ignorant comments in one place. Do any of you have even a basic education about the history of oppression of black people in America?
Unarmed blacks are 4.5x more likely to be shot by police than unarmed whites. Black people are systematically targeted by cops, and whole generations were incarcerated during the drug war (even though drug use and sales was just as high among the white population). Their attempts to get justice through due process are consistently spurned. This murderous cop still walks free.
Why didn't whites riot when a white woman was killed by a black cop? Because whites have ACCESS TO JUSTICE. They're listened to.
Blacks are not. If you cannot get justice no matter how nicely you ask, what do you do next? Demand, violently. All of you fragile pussies would be out there throwing bottles (well those of you who aren't in wheelchairs and posting from your trailers in Arkansas) if the shoe were on the other foot.

It seems that whites can rely on the government to enforce laws in their behalf while others who are less pigmentally challenged seem a little less sure of that. Why do you think that might be?

During those protests were there riots? It seems we are going in circles here. I understand, absolutely, why they might protest. However just saying it was "boys being boys" when folks riot and steal rather than protest isn't better.
What they are doing is wrong. It doesn't help, and it provides fodder for racist jackasses.
