Trump doesn't give a shit about anything except Trump. He's worried about being double digits behind Biden in the polls, not healing relations with minorities.

Politicians can try to please some people but it will only piss off others. Rarely can they do something that pleases everyone. OTOH, their job isn't to please people but to do what's best for the nation, not their party or themselves.

Slavery is not a card. It was a real system that abused, killed, and forced blacks to labor in near starvation. The parasites were the southern farmers who used slaves to work for as free as they could get it.
 
The fact that Trump's rally was in the place of the whites slaughtering blacks and on the calendar day it is recognized, is not a coincidence. It was not a dog whistle to white bigots, but an air horn.
