Absolutely nothing is 100 percent. That is not a fair level to demand. Millions get flu shots because they do not want to get the flu or pass it along. Those flus were nowhere as transmissible as Corona is. Nor were they are virulent.

About a month ago I posted an article from the New England Journal of Medicine that questioned the efficacy of masks outside of the healthcare setting lol.

Google NEJM masks and read it for yourself. As a science point more generally, it’s hard to get all scientists to agree on something. The medical community is no different.

To belabor the point, again, the problem with public use of masks by people who don’t understand some of the principles behind their use [not their fault] is that it can lead to the unintentional spread of pathogens.

Anytime someone touches the front of their mask and touches something else with the same hand, they become a potential vector for transmission of the virus. This is a lot to ask of store employees and etc. Wearing a mask over your face for hours is a pain in the ass. I’ll wager they cross contaminate several times a day. I don’t fault them for it.

Pay attention next time you’re out. See how many times someone violates the principle. Or you might even catch yourself doing it.

That’s your project for the day.

And every study so far (3 in the past 2 weeks) shows that masks are working where they are utilized.

I have facts. What do you have?

You don't know what you're talking about on this issue. You seem to support the economy re-opening faster, but oppose every measure that will allow it too. Going as far as mask shaming - when masks are clearly working in some areas - is absolutely pathetic.

Like I said: you can't be anti-mask, and pro life or pro economy. Period.

I am fine with you being scared of the virus. I am not. And I don't give a flying fuck if you get it. It isn't my responsibility to protect you. It is your responsibility to protect yourself.

For example, I carry a concealed weapon. You probably don't. If I saw you being assaulted by BLM/ANTIFA because you are white, I could choose to use my weapon to protect you. But, I would not because you are a preening, woke leftist who deserves what he gets.

How's about looking at instances where masks were utilized and worked? Hong Kong? NY? The 2 hairdressers in MO?

It's so weird how you guys are bending over backwards to prove masks "don't work," when every bit of anecdotal evidence we have disagrees w/ that, and every major healthcare organization is recommending them.

And the protests were terrible on this front, btw. Am I supposed to feel better because people on "the left" ignored basic precautions too?
