White House new corona messaging: Learn to DIE from it!

Administration officials are planning to intensify what they hope is a sharper, and less conflicting, message of the pandemic next week, according to senior administration officials, after struggling to offer clear directives amid a crippling surge in cases across the country. On Thursday, the United States reported more than 55,000 new cases of coronavirus and infection rates were hitting new records in multiple states.

At the crux of the message, officials said, is a recognition by the White House that the virus is not going away any time soon — and will be around through the November election.

As a result, President Donald Trump's top advisers plan to argue, the country must figure out how to press forward despite it. Therapeutic drugs will be showcased as a key component for doing that and the White House will increasingly emphasize the relatively low risk most Americans have of dying from the virus, officials said.
 
I wonder why other counties - South Korea, Germany, China - were relatively successful in containing and mitigating the risk of COVID, while Donald Trumpf utterly failed?
 
One of the saddest things ever is that Trump's whole approach to COVID likely would have been much different if it wasn't an election year.

These are crimes against humanity. History will record them as such.

And cancer and heart disease actually have treatments, and oftentimes cures. The only cure for Covid is to provide you with max oxygen, steroids, and hope your own immune system
overtakes it, or conversely, does not overtake you.

China is a fascist state that can literally lock down it's citizens, close roads, and put nets in rivers to trap populations in a city

They also typically take years or a lifetime to develop. Not kill you within a matter of days or a few weeks.

Tacitly admitting Trump's failure is a start for you.

India is a parliamentary democracy and put 1.3 billion people on lockdown.

Germany and Korea have been much more successful at containment than Trump.

We advertise ourselves as a world leader in medicine, technology, and public health. Trump has squandered that reputation.

I am prepared to live with risk in this life: auto accident, place crash, aneurysm.

What I am not okay with is having a fat ass MAGA deplorable breathing the virus on me because he refuses to wear a mask -- and because Trump and Republican governors did not take this risk seriously, and even downplayed it.
