I won't lose a minute of sleep if Biden is elected (unlike had HRC been) but the last time we had a president who was incapable of thinking for himself and relied solely on advisors, we got into a disastrous war. Biden simply is incapable of thinking for himself now and he will only get worse with declining cognitive ability.
That said, you are correct. Trump has no interest in the opposition's agenda. Reagan did, Bush Sr. did, Clinton certainly did, Bush II did . Obama did not, although he was more diplomatic about it than Trump. Trump is the symptom and result of ongoing political discourse and I only see it getting worse.

The real danger with Biden is his VP choice. Let's say he picks a kook like AOC, a hard Leftist and empty-headed ideologue. Biden either falls over dead or becomes so obviously incapacitated mentally that he is succeeded by his VP. Now the US has a radical Leftist in office that makes Obama look sane. Big problem.

Derek Chauvin murdering a useless black guy was a huge victory for the far left extremists. No mystery why Floyd was martyred. The First Amendment is basically gone. Although the leftists ' reaction to Floyd's murder was a big victory for the Second Amendment.

You might want to make a study of how power has drifted away from the citizens....hell just look at immigration....we were never so much as consulted about open borders.
