She did. Her idea of "oppression" is not in synch with others.

Actually, Conservatives have moved to the Left on every social issue that became mainstream. They were against freeing the slaves, Catholic immigration, having a Catholic president, women voting, women working, and gay marriage. They were forced to accept these things when it became politically necessary to do so. Today the big threats, according to the Right, are Muslims and transgender people. And we already see them moving to the Left here when it comes to trans rights.

I've never said the Republican Party would soon come to an end. I think the Republicans will remain relevant for a long time as long as they keep changing with the times.

And no, there's no evidence that people become more conservative as they get older. The fact that America keeps becoming more liberal proves it's a myth.

I'm pretty sure she was speaking for the American Muslims. And probably black people too.

There's plenty of oppression on Muslims.

Oppression to Omar, even in your own linked article, always comes back to money. Not equality, income equality. Equality in this country means you have the same ability to get ahead like the next guy. It does not mean someone is doing better therefore I take it from you to give it give to someone else.

She isn't saying that at all. And you are actually making a point for her.... they want to get ahead just like everyone else without "oppression".

She is not making that point at all. Neither is BLM. It is all about money and wealth distribution. She has shown she is not oppressed at all in this country. She came here from a Somalian refugee camp and is now a Congress..person.
That is the story time after time after time in this country. What she fails to realize (as most lefties do) is where all that money comes from. Capitalism. Private business.
