Hansen reveals the Anthropogenic global warming alarmist agenda

I don't know if it's their sheer perserverance or the lack of effort liberals here put into refuting them, but the skeptics on this board are making a stronger case every day.

I think they gave up. There should be plenty of evidence to support their view since evey scientists in the world supposedly agrees with them.

let's think about Hansen's plan for a second. We all incure some carbon taxes which we simply get back later. How does this prevent me from using carbon sources? The only effect this have is to drive costs of manufacturing and goods up. Business will have to add not only the cost of the carbon taxes into the cost of their product or service, but they'll have to include a component to make up for the opportunity lost by having to spend monies reserved for production on these new taxes.

OR,
let's assume a company has to borrow to pay for the taxes in order to maintain the same production. Now the additional cost is the new taxes plus the credit percentage equivalent added as well since they'll have to include the credit costs.

Great fucking plan!
All Hansen's plan has done is add to the cost of goods and services.

Bwahahahaha this section just makes me laugh.

The public will support the tax if it is returned to them, equal shares on a per capita basis (half shares for children up to a maximum of two child-shares per family), deposited monthly in bank accounts. No large bureaucracy is needed.

Just lower middle and lower class income taxes by an amount roughly equal to the tax.

That's the point. There will be incentive to avoid carbon releasing energy sources. Hopefully we could raise them so high that we could make relying on such energy sources unprofitable.

Yes, that is my agenda. Suck it, bitch.

Tinfoil is sort of into this issue in an obsessive way that no liberal on this board matches.

Why do worry about the economy then? You're just a dumbass teen

That's exactly right. And I think that Onceler has really summed up the whole situation anyway; why fight about it anymore? We won. As a country the consensus is we need to become energy independent and pursue alternative sources. I mean, there is only going to be a huge influx of federal cash coming for just that.

Once you won, why waste the energy?
