Joe the Plumber is a statement on the state of America.
And not a good one.
Still too many nutters. Otherwise Joe would would not be a reporter.
there was a time in America, when people rooted for the little guy to succeed.
not anymore it seems.

I don't think I can wait till his book comes out! Maybe he will come to the Book Revue near where I live. Oh, it's too much to hope for!
Yeah, but there comes a point when you must realise that, in the same way all the rooting in the world isn't going to make Verne Troyer the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Joe Plumbers is not exactly cut out for reportage.
from what I see of reporters in this day and age, I don't see where it would take much to be one.
but dumping on Joe the regular little guy is more fun, and then people tell us, we need to all come together..yeah right
Actually, most reporters on a major network have majored in broadcast journalism, and spent years in local markets working their way up.
Joe was a plumber, who asked a question about taxes, and then was hired as a war correspondent.
You know what we keep forgetting is; he wasn't even a plumber! He was Joe, The Faux Plumber!
Olbermann is allowed on TV, so why shouldn't Joe.
I'd bet Joe has more smarts.
