List of GOOD things that Bush did

Wow, you just can't give him credit on anything can you? Tell me Lorax... what was stopping Clinton from doing more? Or Bush Sr? Or Reagan?

I don't give them a pass, but to argue that transitioning was the kind of imperative it has become in the past decade over the previous 3 would be very sad. Bush had no choice.

No, I don't give him credit on anything. A few have mentioned Africa, and that was cool, so I guess I give him credit for that. As for the rest, he's been pathetic. He's the worst in history, as far as I'm concerned.

Do we sit around trying to name the good things Harding did?

If you wish to take a balanced look at a Presidency, then yes, you should list both pros and cons... regardless of whether the list is heavily lopsided... as is the case for both Harding and Bush.

Bush's greatest accompolishment?

Trashing the Republican party. :cheer:

It all depends on your point of view folks.

What conservative values do you despise? There are so many. :)

Obsessively fixating on the "unborn" while supporting wars that kill the already living, laughing, and feeling children. Slashing worker protections. Favoring big business over the laborer. Stripping consumer rights. Decimating the Superfund so that poor communities are polluted and left for dead. Obsessing over other people's sex lives, instead of minding their own backyards and underaged, pregnant daughters. Lying on environmental reports at the expense of the citizenry. Relaxing air-quality and emission standards. Torturing people.

I could go on, but as you point out...there are so many.

The biggest thing for me relating to those two justices is the shutting on the courthouse doors to people with legitimate claims based on technical procedural issues that are specious at best. See: Lily Ledbetter (and the fallout from the decision).

he stemmed sex trafficking in Cambodia and other south eastern asian countries.

Umm What does "stemmed" mean?

Jesus sells his daughter.

GREENFIELD, Calif. (Jan. 13) - Police have arrested a Greenfield man for allegedly arranging to sell his 14-year-old daughter into marriage in exchange for $16,000, 100 cases of beer and several cases of meat.
Police said they only learned of the deal after 36-year-old Marcelino de Jesus Martinez went to them to get his daughter back because payment wasn't made as promised. Martinez was arrested Sunday on suspicion of human trafficking.
