GOP ideas are essentially traditional ideas: Law and order. Jobs, economy and all that boring stuff that makes the country go lol. Radical conservative is an oxymoron.

Speaking of law and order, why should independents feel compelled to pin all the rioting on Trump and not democrats?

And this is an instance where the Donkeys get the tail. Democrat mayors stood down while violence mayhem and even murder were going on in many Democrat cities.

It takes a few leaps of logic to go from that to Trump. And no, don’t bother trying to explain how that might work.

Independents aren’t going to buy it any great number.

The Democrats would be considered mainstream conservative in most countries on earth. Lets just take universal healthcare, where conservatives tend towards multi-payer, and liberals tend towards single payer. Democrats have the entire mainstream debate there, leaving Republicans with the weird view that people should just die.

Biden and Harris are both extremely pragmatic, which is something moderates can really get behind.

trump has pardoned any white criminal he can. Harris and Biden were actually extremely tough on crime. In fact, that is one of the Republicans main attacks on both, they were too tough on crime. The Democratic attack on trump is he hates our system of laws.
 
When Donald Trump loses and is gone, you are going to pretend you never supported him, never voted for him, never even heard of him.

After 50 years of fixing government, I think Biden can continue to fix government.

No human institution can be "fixed" forever. It keeps getting fixed, and improved. Biden has the history of improving things. It is a long history, as you pointed out.

Bernie has a point: what the actual frick? Why should 2 Republicans crowd out AOC at the convention? Makes no sense. I can see trotting out one Never Trumper because—well I don’t know why really. What does it accomplish? Trump supporters could care less about Kasich or Colon Pile.

Democrats are dying to hear from them? I don’t get it.

At any rate, this is a slap in the face to the very segment of the party that has any measurable enthusiasm.

I think democrat leaders know that it’s going to be impossible to govern with the AOC wing doing anything but yipping from the sidelines.

The next 12 weeks are going to be interesting.
