Someone explain this to me

And there it is for all to see. Equivocation fallacy.
Fossil fuels are not made of fossils.
You are claiming fossils are fossil fuels and then use your equivocation to claim fossils don't burn.
Fossil fuels are not fossils and no one other than you is claiming they are.

Fallacy fallacy. There is no equivocation here. There is no such thing as fossil fuels. Fossils do not burn.

??? Which is it, dude??

Fossil is from the Roman word to dig up. Fossil fuels are fuels we dig up, and fossils are artifacts that we did up. It is much like calculators are not made of calcium.

I from time to time get things wrong. What I do is check around me as a reality check. When every source is telling you that fossil fuels exist, Night, why do you refuse to believe them? Why do you refuse to let reality in, Night?

Nope. Fossils specifically refer to plant or animal remains (or the image of them). Fossils don't burn.

There is no such thing as a 'fossil fuel'. Fossils don't burn.

You are wrong.

Define 'reality'.

You don't get to speak for every source or for every person. You only get to speak for yourself. Consensus is not used here.
Why do you refuse to let reality in, Night?
Define 'reality'.

A massive rebuild of the US infrastructure while Rates are low and Labor is plentiful makes common sense.
Taxing those who have become amazingly Rich through investing in the Stock Market also is a No-Brainer.

Naturally, Trumptonians won't understand this and will squeal "That's socialism" or "But, but Obama" or "Chinese Hoax".

So lower the floor and stifle investment?

Brilliant!!!

.

And there it is - the equivocation fallacy.

When someone says fossil fuel, fossil is an adjective. You are using the definition of the noun version of fossil while ignoring all other definitions. That clearly makes your argument the equivocation fallacy

Nope. A fossil is a noun. It is only a noun. There is no such thing as a fossil fuel. Fossils do not burn. Fallacy fallacy. Redefinition fallacy.
