A Confederate statue is coming down today

All of which is evidence you are not only a bully/victim but that you are unreasonable...which I see as being mental illness. Why do you think a person would post their name, address and business on an open forum much less to violent neo-nazi racist?

There's only one reason he didn't post it. His statement isn't true.

If there are blacks who wish to erect monuments that depict blacks who were an important part of our history, fine. Statues of MLK are fine with me. In fact, there are monuments of some who were a part of the Underground Railroad, and others. There are at least 4 State Parks dedicated to blacks. That's great! I am NOT offended. I am not offended by monuments of any prominent figures related to our country's history on private or public land.

I wasn't "offended" that a mop-headed half breed made millions more than me playing a kids game, until he disrespected our flag, National Anthem and our country. He sure as hell wasn't a better football player than I am a machinist, that I can assure you.

CFM and volsrock have nothing to do with it. Oh, and you forgot TDAK. But then, you didn't mention guno, Bourbon or Crowonapost, did you?
If the aforementioned are "offended" by any black monuments, that's just too bad.

Kap isn't a "half breed", a racist term. There are no races, genetically speaking. There are loose groupings of skin tone and facial characteristics, but a native Kenyan can be the perfect kidney match for a California surfer dude because all people are 99.5%-99.9% genetically alike. Our differences are primarily cultural. Kap is more European than African, he was raised by a middle-class Euro-American family in Wisconsin who adopted him after his Euro-American mother and mixed heritage father split and gave him up for adoption. Kap chooses to be black much like Rachel Dolezal did except that he actually has some African heritage, at least 25%, and she doesn't.

Although I disagree with his methods, both regarding the National Anthem and his profession, the first is covered by the First Amendment and the second by his contract with his employer. Therefore, none of my business except as a discussion point.

I left out TDAK and others who constantly use oversized signatures and fonts as being mentally "off" as their posts often prove. How can a reasonable person expect to reason with an unreasonable, irrational person? Even though I'll occasionally post a response to their posts, I largely ignore them as nutjobs since there's little to no chance of having a rational discussion with any of them.

Posting on forums is like panning for gold in a river of bullshit. People like TDAK, IBDa and the TD twins are the bullshit. You and I discussing the topic rationally is the gold, the true value of exchanging ideas in rational discussion.

There is still the statue of Lee on a horse, and a Jackson monument in Charlottesville.

They are staining the culture there.

Both have been approved for removal by the city, but the decision has been challenged and is headed for the VA Supreme Court.

Personally, I do not think 'very fine people' drive their car into a crowd of innocent peaceful protestors.

Do “very fine people” cheer the economic loss to millions of Americans and their families caused by the virus from China that China failed to contain, as you did?

I think the context determines if they are part of the history at their present location or if they'd be better relocated to a more appropriate location.

IMO, the context would be when and why the statues were placed. IMO, placing them shortly after the War of Northern Aggression as a monument to defenders of Old Dominion against Yankee invaders is entirely appropriate. Placing them 40 years later to affirm Jim Crow is not. For one thing, I doubt General Lee would approve of his figure being used as a divisive tool.

When did anyone cheer the loss of millions? Just because you take things out of context, Earl, doesn't make you smart, right or honest.

Now Groan this and run like you usually do, Captain:

Good boy, Earl! Have the wife give you a pat on the head for me....and a cookie!

Sorry, I know you can't actually "run". More like be pushed away from your keyboard for snack and nap time. :)

Shove this context.

Shouldn't be such a big deal.

Get 'em the heck out of people's face where they did not choose to have reminders of hatred forced on their serenity; and move them to museums, battlefields, cemeteries, etc.

The war of southern secession almost ripped this country apart. Fortunately the South lost. They never should have begun hostilities.

If ripping the USA apart had been successful Hitler might have won WWII.

Darn good thing the USA was ready to be united in the cause to save the world from fascism.

We could sure use a repeat of that effort about now.
