Dem leadership: Babies a burden on economy

Um no, I SPECIFICALLY addressed those adults who are 18 and 19 and gave reason for WHY those rates are higher while the younger ones are not.

Translation: I cherrypicked the only data I could in some sort of deranged effort to spin high rates of unwed teenage pregnancy as some sort of good thing.

Huge portions of teen pregnancies are to unwed mothers, and the majority of those are unwanted & unplanned.

And you have spent this entire thread trying to spin that this is somehow desirable for America: to have more high school & college dropouts, who need more healthcare & assistance, and already can't afford their situations.

Pelosi is right. You are not even wrong; you're insane.

ROFLMAO! Who cherrypicked? Dung and Darla are the ones that brought up Alaska, it's not my fault when Liberals get burned on their own data.

As to the rest of your nonsense, I have never said I want to see more dropouts or more unwanted pregnancies or more or less of anything other than government funding.

ENOUGH with the CAPS. IT'S fucking ANNOYING.

And the states have requested it. It isn't in there for shits and giggles.

I don't CARE if you find it ANNOYING... it is done as an EMPHASIS so people like YOU can better comprehend. Given your obvious inability to comprehend what you read.

AS I said.... I don't think it should be specified in the FEDERAL stimulus package. IF the STATES take whatever money they are alloted and decide that condoms are a critical area of need, then fine.

Here's a great article about how responsible those conservative areas are w/ their teen pregnancies:

http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/story/523692.html

"State statistics show that Mat-Su teens in 2006 -- the latest year for which such data is available -- gave birth at a rate of almost 31 for every 1,000 girls between 15 and 19. Statewide, the rate was almost 41 births per 1,000 teenage girls.

Providers see in pregnant teens a range of risky behaviors: girls couch-surfing from house to house, dieting to delay the onset of a baby bump, and still smoking, drinking or doing drugs.

Alaska's rate of 18- and 19-year-old unwed teenage mothers remains higher than the national rate -- 77.5 per 1,000 teens here compared to 73 per 1,000 teens nationally."

That's what the Palinites want to give to all of America.

That's the kind of the admission I was looking for.

So, in a nutshell, you are unable to make the connection between how making contraception more available & affordable = a lower % of unwanted/unplanned pregnancies.

Thanks.

I don't think size has anything to do with comprehension.

It's all in how you use the letters SF.
