Left Wing Liberal Extremist Texan Wants to Ban Freedom of Choice

There's a similar ban in our city, and that may be shared among several Texas cities; I don't know. State facilities such as our university buildings are smoke free, and this is supposed to be extended to the grounds. Enforcement, if it exists, is haphazard at best. The people who haven't quit yet go outside by the loading dock for their fix. It can't be too pleasant (and apparently they could actually be fired for it), especially when the days turn cold. The downside for me is that their smoking location unfortunately is very near the air intake for this part of the building. Luckily it's fairly windy here nearly all the time so the concentration isn't too overwhelming.

Is Lance equally as passionate about drug-free cyclists as he is about smoke-free environments?

Not that i'm suggesting anything, mind.

OH no! Not another wineing Frog!! Go tell it to Hinault! :P

(Oh man...I just called a Limey a Frog...dems fighten words!)

And then hopefully you can descend into anarchy, all the gun nuts will kill each other, and the feds can swoop back in and restore sane civilization to the area.

Anchorage is smoke free. I don't want to take away cigarette smokers rights, but I am allergic to second hand tobacco smoke, terrible sinus infections when I bowled, when I quit bowling, the sinuses cleared up!
I need my clean air! Sorry

It does not take away freedom of choice... you want to smoke... go outside. Done.

I don't smoke. I can't stand the smell of it, but I am 100% opposed to these kind of bans both indoor and outdoor. I have read where some places are trying to make it illegal outside as well, and remember reading about one place even trying to make it illegal to smoke in your own apartment or even out on the patio of your apartment.

Well gee....someone smokes some pot in public, they go to jail.....people expose people to the smoke of the most dangerous drug in the world and they expect a pass? That's fucked up.

That was caused by the hand powder you use on the bowling balls.
I used to have problems similiar when playing pool. I would get dizzy and stagger. I thought it was the que chalk, but it turned out to be the beer.

I don't think people should go to jail for smoking pot either although the smell of dope smoke is worse than the smell of tobacco.
