He's deliberately spreading misinformation because he's a malicious actor.

He is probably a Russian asset since he's using all the same Active Measures DHS has been warning us about for a year, including lying about getting an unsolicited mail-in ballot to undermine confidence in the election, like DHS says:

We assess that Russia is likely to continue amplifying criticisms of vote-by-mail and shifting voting processes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to undermine public trust in the electoral process.

I disagree w/ many things he has said politically but I have zero doubt he is 100% truthful about his personal handling of the virus.

He has repeated this exactly as stated numerous times, publicly & privately.........

There is absolutely nothing politically or otherwise I can see for him to gain stating it.........

In fact there is prob some political downside here for him doing so....

Right...so he says things like that as a means of erasing all the shitty things he said before, that run in direct contradiction with what he said.

It's a game manipulators play to convince you they're reasonable.

But we have absolutely no reason to trust him when he says it, when he wasn't being honest about getting an unsolicited mail-in ballot.

So in my view, he's either 100% truthful, or 100% full of shit.

Based on the lies he's already been caught telling, I'm leaning toward the latter, not the former.

I am stating my opinion, which I don't claim is unbiased...... I have known him prob over 20 years, over which time his opinions, as have mine have evolved.

He pisses me off sometimes & vise versa.... Why I suspect @ times he has even made comments to do just that:thinking: lol so unlike the rest of us here..


It is prob about 15+ years to late to manipulate me & I believe he could care less what you or most folks here think about his opinions........

There are many ppl here we disagree w/-THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM EVIL.......... Although there are a few that probably are, he isn't one of them I assure you......

I also saw that example & I didn't post in it a few months ago (although I just found a gem in it & did so)

I can't recall what my thinking/conclusions were @ the time of reading post #1 but it seems it would be a fruitless exercise~ mostly absorbed in the tale/example rather than the merits vs possible faults of voting by mail so I didn't post in it.......

I dunno if it is a tale but I thought the issue of voting by mail more important than if it were a story or not.....

I would also add my semi-related experience about 15 years ago, which I have shared a few times over the years..

I often don't pick up my mail & had to go down to the Post Office & pick it up in a big tub..

When I got home & started sorting I came across my neighbors tax packet-not the ones you get from the IRS, it was his sealed return-MAILED TO THE IRS IN UTAH......

He is always pissed off about something but I went over & dropped it on his porch as it Rottweiler was out & he wasn't home.. I called him........

Needless to say he went over to the PO office two days in a row to vent & fortunately his tax payments & forms were received on time by the IRS........

Sometimes shit happens, the Post Office like the cable company aren't perfect & subject to human error................

It is an important story and he's poisoning the discourse by inserting Russian Active Measures into the debate.

The real story with mail-in voting is how difficult the GOP is making it for everyone.
