But spraying people with anything is assault...unless it's in self-defense. The entire legal question will revolve around the intent of the sprayer. If he was under threat of attack and defending himself, and the guard shot him for that, the sprayer did nothing wrong and the guard will be someone's man-bitch for the next couple of decades. If the sprayer was the aggressor, then shooting him could be justified.

Last I saw on Rittenhouse is that the weapons charges in Ohio were dropped.

But that's not even a legitimate prosecution. Self-defense (caught on video) is not a crime. That's Democrats abusing their power to enable further terrorism and lynch mob violence some more.

The unlicensed amateur security guard gunning down an "unarmed" (by the standard applied to Antifa and BLM) demonstrator in front of his family has far more legitimacy for prosecution, at least based on the facts available thus far.
