I suspect the FBI "lost" the laptop and hard drive that they took, but Rudy got a copy of all the files from the repair shop owner.

Hunter has a history of substance abuse that is well-documented.

Don't dismiss the source, deal with the specifics. I'll grant that it's hard to do that in this instance, since Brad* failed to cite his source.
That's the kind of laziness and lack of professionalism that frustrated his attempts to establish himself in Washington, DC when he was younger.
