None of it is valid. The entire movie presumes all the false assumptions of standard Marxist propaganda, e.g. there is a Greenhouse Effect which spontaneously increases earth's average global temperature without any additional energy, that we are somehow running out of hydrocarbons and that the earth somehow won't make lots more, that hydrocarbons are fossils, that CO2 is poison and pollution and somehow not a life-essential compound, etc ...
In order to stomach this movie, one must suspend all understanding of physics and economics. I'm just not able to do that.

A 3x5 panel generates approx 250 watts in full sun.
At that rate, to generate 140GW you would need approx 560,000,000 panels (five hundred sixty million)
8,460,000,000 square feet of panel
Approx 300 square miles of panels required to generate enough wattage to power NYC.
And unless you have weeks worth of battery storage (tech doesn't currently exist) a few days of cloudy weather will lead to blackouts and rationing.

I don't believe I ever said "faults". I did speak of cracks in rocks where oil is forced out of by fracking, and I have spoken of plates being "moved", or disturbed, by fracking. One only has to look to the SOTC. A land of Silicon Valley, Hollywood, high tech, and all that....and they can't keep the lights on.
The SOTC (formerly the State of California) now has to import most of it's power. By banning gasoline and diesel engines, the following should immediately take place:
No truck deliveries to anywhere within the SOTC.
No truck pick ups from anywhere within the SOTC.
No aircraft service to or from any airport in the SOTC.
No ships may call on any port in the SOTC.
No cars, trucks, or any other gasoline vehicle may enter the SOTC. No tourism, no business...nothing.
No drilling or refining of oil, or the production of any oil products such as plastics may occur. Use of plastics is also banned. The SOTC must rid itself of all use of plastics, including paints and coatings.
No power plants, since they depend on diesel engines to start the generators, even in hydroelectric and nuclear plants.
No exporting of power of any kind to the SOTC. Let them fend for themselves.
A fence like the Wall with Mexico should be built around the SOTC immediately, both to prevent gasoline or diesel from going into it, and to prevent refugees from entering the United States without proper vetting.
