So the only way to verify mail in ballots is by SIGNATURE??

Nah, I'm just not perverse about it. Making sure we have secure elections where only legal votes are cast is a good thing regardless of party, especially when it would be so easy to do. I question folks that do not want any checks, that try to make laws that make sure you cannot ensure any such thing.

There is no evidence that we do not have secure and honest elections. They have been questioned and checked many times. You are advocating the distrust of one of our basic institutions that have survived every challenge. There have been many, every time a Republican lost as an example. You are an example of what is going wrong in America. If the Repubs lose, it is due to cheating. let's attack the election system. It can not be due to Trump being a nutcase. This is damaging.

lol, I’ve NEVER seen a tribal ID card used. I have seen utility bills which is an accepted form in Alaska, a very Republican state. Asking them to obtain a certain form of ID is equal to a poll tax.

Whether you have or not, it is accepted and they have them. My daughter currently lives with a Native Alaskan in Alaska and I know for a fact that they have that ID, nor do they usually have to pay for them. (just like State ID in Colorado, you can get it without having to pay for it).

It isn't "poll tax"... And I also know that the vast majority of them actually just use their Alaskan driver's license like everybody else. This "I saw them using utility bills all the time" is massively exaggerated and you know it.

There is absolutely evidence we do not have secure elections, because we take no steps in order to secure them.

No, it isn’t exaggerated. Have you ever worked in a low income district at the polls? I have. It’s a lot different than the white suburbs.

I have indeed. In Denver. I lived in a "low income district" almost exclusively (except when I was in the navy) until I was about 30, I grew up poor. I worked as an election Judge every election I was able, I have ever since I was first registered to vote. I have a hard time believing that you personally lived in a "low rent" district in AK as well. Since election judges are selected from the precincts in which they reside your "have you ever served as a judge in a low income district" is falling on knowledgeable ears... Basically, your "evidence" of "tons of folks using copies of their utility bills as ID" is falling apart.

Is this a joke? The only way to certify if someone is who they say they are on a ballot, is by matching signatures?

It can be very easy to fake a signature. And we are relying on election workers to be forensic document examiners?

Someone looks at it and goes, ehh looks okay to me. Voted!

WHAT A JOKE!

Not a joke. Signatures are unique. That's why they're signatures.

Exactly. To the point that it overwhelmed the system and Democrats knew that it would.

Planned chaos by the Party of the Jackass. The only one's surprised are the PHONY media; surprised that Republicans don't just bend over when commanded.

Well, this is the second time you have intimated I’m being dishonest. I did live in the Spenard area off 36th, ask anonymoose about the area. My husband and I barely had two nickels to rub together the first few years he worked construction before his pipeline days.

Please show me where I said tons of people.

You said "all the time"... it simply implies tons, in the future I'll try to be more accurate instead of using the normal hyperbole. And yes, I think that you are exaggerating the number of folks you have seen use a utility bill as identification. I think people do that often. Either because hyperbole is normal in our language today, or because they want to win.

They are used all the time, you may have a point if I said by the majority, but I made no such claim. Utility bills are used for a source of ID in AK. It is a fact and according to my Native friend in order to get a tribal ID you have to apply for it, they are not automatically issued. They are free, but you must apply for one. It maybe the reason I never saw one used as ID.

I was not a judge. I was a worker who checked ID’s and witnessed signatures. I never wanted to be a judge. I was happy being a worker bee.

They are used here in CO as well, which is why I mentioned them, but IMHO it shouldn't happen for reasons which I have given.

A utility bill does not show anything at all of the requirements to vote and can be easily fabricated and is not the only option for the folks that use them for voting identification.

You need a PIN number and a credit / debit card to do that, the transaction includes a receipt, and ATM's have security cameras that record those using them.

...and the transaction with the bank is encrypted as well, likely using your card in the initial key exchange, if your card is chip equipped.

Yep. Yet your ballot is verified just by a signature on the envelope and the envelope and ballot are separated once that occurs so you have no way of verifying anything after that happens. There is no chain of custody at any time in the process either.

The Dems wanted to count mail-in early. The systems we have used for decades worked again. But were a little slowed down. Biden whipped Daffy. Wasn't it good to hear Biden talk like an adult to the press today?

No. It has not been used for decades. This is the first election where it was used (other than a few States). It was implemented illegally, without changing the constitutions of those States, as required, and fraud was rampant as a result.
No one has won the election. It remains undecided.

Actually, there is. The ballot is numbered. That number corresponds to where the ballot was mailed to (at least in Washington). That number is attached to the voter.
