If anyone doesn't think that the prohibition on pot is not a civil rights issue they need to have their head examined.

These clowns are throwing good people in prison for long periods of time over nuthin. Just because they don't like you and what you do in the privacy in your own home doing something relatively harmless.

Yet they still subsidize the growers and producers and distributors of the most dangerous drug known to man. Those hipocritical mother fuckers turn a blind eye to the tobacco kings killing millions of people but pop a brothers ass in the slam for a long assed time for tasting some bud. Is this shit right?

I'm not a pot smoker but it seems to me if you are making the argument for legalization trying to start a battle against fat people who use viagra probably isn't a good starting point. A large number of men take Viagra and a large number of men are fat and out of shape. I would think you'd want to ally them in a battle not go against them. As for exploiting girls in the third world because of viagra would be interesting to see. It's obviously been happening for years. Has it increased immensly since Viagra came out?

Dude you totally miss my point. I aint dissin viagra. It's probably the greatest recreational drug ever invented. I'm talkin about hypocrisy. How they can throw my ass in jail for two stems and a seed cause they don't like my hippy ass but Rush Lard Ass Limbaugh get's a fuckin pass on faking scrips for oxycontin and the kings of tobacco road keep right on killing millions of my brothers and sisters and I'm hear to tell you that the shit aint right!

That aint no joke man. Judge threatened to put my ass away for a year over 2 joints. 2 lousy fucking joints. I about vapor locked on the spot but he reduced it to two weeks.

What frustrates me most about pot laws is the fact that if you're caught they totally do whatever they can to fuck up the rest of your life for that mistake. For instance, after three possession convictions you become indefinitely ineligible for federal aid to complete school. How the hell is that a productive law? If a pot head wants to finish school so he can become a productive member of society, how is preventing him from doing that going to help anyone?

There are a million examples like this. It's not as important or relevant to my life as rights for homosexuals, but it's still an important issue that ill be resolved within my lifetime I'm sure.

It's the same issue my man. Big brother is coming into our homes, living rooms, kitchen tables and bed rooms and telling us how to live our lives and ruining them if they don't like us or the way we live. These wingnuts who want to run this country scare the hell out of me. They have absolutely no concept of what freedom is. They squeel and howl and ruin peoples lives for living their lives as free people. They wouldn't know what freedom was if Liberty herself fell on them and fucked them like a $20 whore.

I have very little respect for people who don't work or do anything but smoke pot. When I lived in Toronto, I was surrounded by pot heads. Many of them are worthless people who contribute nothing to society. That said, the government can't stop people from smoking pot any more than they can stop prostitution, alcohol, gambling and other vices.

The best solution is to legalize it, tax it, and get over it.

That's an unfair stereotype my brother. Do you respect drunks? Crack heads? Tax Accountants? No one is saying pot is completely harmless, like anything else it can be abused. About half the people I know smoke some weed and they do it responsibly. But throwing us in jail for smoking it, mainly cause the powers that be don't like us or our culture, is wrong. This is about our rights and why the can't let me be.

Adults with kids do. So do adults that care about saving taxpayer money.

Way too many young people serving terms in prison for something as stupid as pot.

I do not respect anyone who wastes away their life, whether it be via pot, alcohol or any other addictive substance. But no, I am not saying everyone who smokes pot is irresponsible.

No one is saying pot is completely harmless, like anything else it can be abused. About half the people I know smoke some weed and they do it responsibly. I believe it should be legalized. I have to agree most pot smokers are contributive members of society. Many however are not. It is an unfortunate fact I learned from living in an area with very lax marijuana policy.

On the other hand, most of the people I'm talking about were in their late teens or early 20s. There is still hope for them.
