Fair enough, and I never thought otherwise about those who knew where they were, as I always did - I was talking about what appears to be uncertainty, which is often (like living in a closet) due to an adjustment to the values of those in power. Those with their heads screwed on use that as best they can, which is why so many boys, especially (because of the weird law back then) had to pretend not to be what they were, or even, sometimes, even recognise it. Being a kid is hard work!

I agree, if anything, it often leads to lgbtq not acknowledging their true sexual attractions. I’ve never ever heard an lgbtq stating someone talked them into being gay.
