Well that's exactly what happened to me, races reversed. I was jogging thru a section of Audubon Park in New Orleans called The Butterfly that I hadn't realized was unofficially closed to whites. It had previously been an area with folks picnicking , rugby games, softball games, with folks of all races having a good time. I hadn't realized that it had become a blacks only section.

A single incident doesn't compare to a lifetime of systemic oppression, but what you went through is important and should never have happened. I hope that you recovered fully. I am going to disagree with you here as the definition of discrimination applies to many things other than race. I have seen plenty of poorer white people get treated like shit or not allowed into places because of their status.
