In fact, in the Marine Corps, several high IQ people, while good staff officers (office workers and managers), tended to be flighty. I knew several Marines with average IQs who'd I'd much rather trust to have my back in a combat situation or during an inflight emergency than those high IQ staff officers.
You? Until you change your attitude, I wouldn't trust you to take out the trash once a week.

Agreed on rights. Agreed on "job application" per se but certainly you understand that employers seek the best person for the job. "Over qualified" and "high IQ" may be a detriment or an asset depending upon the job being sought.

IQ only enters into a job application indirectly your presentable ability on the resume and your past history and your presentability during the interview are what matters. Obviously a person with mental impairment is not going to have a degree in rocket science.
