I don't know for sure, I have not made up a fixed opinion on that. If the 'fixed income' were low enough it could foster the rewarding work not wealth, by giving even the poorest a toehold, and it would be sustainable if we took that money out of what we use to bailout the wealthy everytime they get in trouble.
On the other hand, there would be a segment that would simply abuse it.
In the 2019 GovTrack ideology report card, Horizontal Harris was considered the most liberal Senator. That put her further left than someone (Sanders) who calls himself a socialist.

It now does not punish companies with a 30% plus corporate tax rate and a 24% Capital Gains tax.
It does not strangle companies with regulations that are not merited.
