The Obama admin admitted planning a strategy to go after Rush and make him the face of the Repub party months ago, so they can't really complain much when he asks to debate them. They're the ones who elevated him to their level.

the good thing for the republicans is, it's way to early to have a leader for 12 anyway.
Let the dems beat the crap out of Rush, mcfossill and Piyush.
If the economy goes sour then someone else has to emerge and won't have been is a 4 yr slapfest.

You're right, it just bugs me how they take a guy like Limbaugh who has been around for 2 decades doing the same thing and all of a sudden annoint him as the head of the Republican party and the media plays along pretending that it really happened.

Rush is no more the head of the Repub party now than he was 1 year ago or 5 years ago or 10 years ago.
 
If they followed conservative principles like Rush espouses Mcain would be president now.
This is just comedy right now. Bush gave this too Obama on a silver platter. Had he left 6months after mission accomplished he'd have rode out on numbers like Obama has.
But spending trillions off the books over there fucked his party.

But 1 year ago there was this guy that was Republican and President of the United States of America. Same thing with 5 years ago. 10 years ago maybe you have a point, but I think because the Republicans controlled the House, the House leadership actually did some leading, the Newt Gingrich, Tom Delay, Denny Hastert, Dick Armey types. And Trent Lott was no slouch either.

These days the Republicans are leaderless and Rush fills the void created by the feckless Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and Eric Cantor.
 
Cantor is gayer than Clay Akin.
Right now the republicans make Dukakis look like a tough leader.
They will be back, they might have to bitch slap the religious right though. They can never win again cow towing to the old base. It's shrinking like the wicked witch of the west.

He doesn't fill the void, he was annointed in the void. They are not REALLY attacking him because he IS the leader even with the quiet leadership of the people you mentioned, they are attacking him because they want to MAKE him the leader. That was their strategy they plotted out and so far it is working.

The sad part is it doesn't matter how well Limbaugh responds, not many who are not on the right will listen to him no matter how good his points or argument because of his negative rep. Believe me, I know something about that....
 
Democrats Rham (tool) Emmanuel are doing this as a huge diversion to take eyeballs off the billions in citizens retirements circling around the toilet bowl.
they'll have to get off and start solving the problem.

You know I think you're right. The political capital got spent pretty quick, hence the need more than ever to direct the fire at Limbaugh.

I don't that any political capital has been spend at all. Have you seen the polls lately? They're keeping their powder dry until the Republicans get their act together and are bitch-slapping the Republicans around with this silly stuff until then.
 
That's the height of arrogance. Obama does get a pass on the mess.
But he also inherited the most powerful job in the world. And he has the power of the fed and the treasury. The far left loves Obama just like the right loves Rush. Their are too many real people that have seen their life savings go to shit. Obama doesn't fix this by 2012 he'll be the next Jimmy Carta

I'm with ya, he's gonna fix it big time too. So his ratings go down before the end of the year. So what? Unemployment is getting up to at least 9% by summer and hopefully we don't see 12% by year end.

But the fed & TREASURY are getting us out and the market will have consecutive double digit returns going into 2012.
He could win by more next time as the fear factor is removed and he stole their only issue tax cuts.
