Will Trump be Reelected via Electoral College or via 12th Amendment ?

shut up moron
Should I drop my pants right now so you can blow me?

It looks like you aren't waiting until the last minute; you're just going ahead and starting your meltdown right now to beat the rush. Smart move. This way you'll be noticed. Those who join the meltdown too late will only be lost in the crowd.

‘YOU’RE A LOSER’ Maxine Waters slammed for mocking Trump in fiery tweet and says he has ‘lost his mind’

CRITICS have slammed Maxine Waters after the congresswoman raged that President Donald Trump had "lost his mind" on Twitter.

Waters, 82, had also made a dig at the president for losing nearly every legal challenge his campaign has made to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Can’t wait for January 6th when the electoral votes from the 50 states will be sent to Congress," .
She added: "Trump, you LOST the popular vote, the ELECTORAL vote, & you’ve obviously lost your mind! What does it take for you to understand you’re a LOSER. PeriodT (as the millennials say)!"

You are one screwed up, mind fucked sumbitch.

Look, you've got me all wrong. Your denial is not in dispute and you don't need to convince me. I take you on your word. We can move forward.

So, when Trump is being sworn-in, how will you display your apoplexy? I'm certain it will be in glorious fashion, to be sure!

Right, right, right ... so how will you display your meltdown when Trump is sworn in for his second term?

The map shows the number of states won in the election. If the House chooses the president it is based on the vote of the House members from each state. It has nothing to do with the winner of the election.
Yeah, I know. So you think Trump will win by fewer than ten votes if we go the 12th Amendment route. By how many States do you think Trump'll win then?

Which state(s) have considered abstaining from sending its electoral votes?
All six of the contested States have considered merely abstaining.

The electors have already voted on Dec 14 and those votes were certified and sent to Congress.
None of that matters if the State legislatures change their mind at any time before the votes are counted. Any State legislature can simply tell Congress to not open its votes because they are abstaining. The States have plenary power in that matter and nobody gets to say otherwise.

The VP does not have a vote in case of tie under the 12th Amendment. The House just keeps voting until one candidate has a majority (26). No state is going to change its mind before the votes are counted, and I doubt if they can do that since the states already followed state law by choosing electors who have cast their electoral votes which have been certified by the states. They can't retroactively change the law.

I think you are really desperate to think Trump is still going to get elected. This latest angle is the most far-fetched yet; even crazier than the Texas lawsuit.

No state is going to change its mind before the votes are counted,
Forgive me if I don't quite have full confidence in your clairvoyance.

... and I doubt if they can do that since the states already followed state law ...
The State legislature has plenary power. It has full say, full discretion and full control over how the State votes for the President. State laws and the State Constitution are totally irrelevant at the moment the State legislature votes for the State. The Constitution is clear.

I think you are really desperate to think Trump is still going to get elected.
I realize that you are submerged in denial. This is why I want to ask you now how you plan on detonating at Trump's inaugural. What will you be wearing? What will be your last meal? Are your affairs in order? To whom have you given a power of attorney? These are the kinds of things I want to find out before you make it clear that you never saw it coming, that you didn't learn a damn thing from the 2016 election.

This latest angle is the most far-fetched yet; even crazier than the Texas lawsuit.
Any and all lawsuits are just a vehicle for engaging the public in discussions on the matter, but no lawsuit will succeed because this is not an issue for any court. This is entirely a State legislature issue and when the State legislatures decide to do the right thing, Trump wins.

You appear to be convinced that the State legislatures will somehow NOT do the right thing, correct?

.

The un American POS tRump was not lawfully elected in the first place but a piece of sh!t that was lawlessly hacked in there in 2016, and with the gutter filth of his Russian pimps and his Russian repukes facilitating the hacking of the electoral college of 2016 in the devil's favor. tRump is not only a fake president but a fool's sold called president that is un American.

Crazy eyes and the loony woman have nothing on Dotard's cult.
Too bad stupidity isn't painful, teabaggers would be a lot of ICU's.

You got that right. You've got to HATE the US to want to see Biden become President. This is why Trump won the election in record fashion and why the DNC had to commit the largest fraud scheme in human history to steal it.

I take it you're in the DENIAL crowd as well, yes? I take it you will be melting like the wicked witch of the west when Trump is reelected, yes?

Your brain is diseased

Correct. the VP does have a vote in all cases of a tie, as specified in Article I.
The House just keeps voting until one candidate has a majority (26).
Nope. They only vote once. They can't just vote and vote and vote.
No state is going to change its mind before the votes are counted,
Any State can change it's mind, right up until Jan 6th.
and I doubt if they can do that
Yes they can. They have all the authority required. See Article II.
since the states already followed state law by choosing electors who have cast their electoral votes which have been certified by the states.
Not State law. Federal law. It's Article II of the Constitution.
They can't retroactively change the law.
They aren't.
I think you are really desperate to think Trump is still going to get elected.
It's actually quite possible. Apparently you are really desperate that Trump is going to get re-elected.
This latest angle is the most far-fetched yet; even crazier than the Texas lawsuit.
The Constitution is not far fetched. Neither was the Texas lawsuit.

Paradox. Which is it, dude? You cannot argue both sides of a paradox. It's irrational.

The Constitution gives the states the power to choose electors. Once they make that decision they must follow their own laws and constitution.

You appear to be convinced that the State legislatures will somehow NOT do the right thing, correct?

No, I think the state legislatures have already done the right thing. Each state gave its electoral votes to the popular vote winner in their state.

Crazy eyes and the loony woman have nothing on Dotard's cult.

That's all fine and dandy but in which manner will Trump ultimately prevail? ... the electoral college or via Twelfth Amendment?

Entirely optional are your personal planned fireworks for Trump's inaugural. For those of you who are planning major meltdowns I hope they are as spectacular as the Trump supporters celebrations being planned all over the country. All-in-all January will prove to be awesome all-around.

This thread should have asked whether Trump leaves a thumb tack or a whoopie cushion on the oval office chair when he angrily departs?

He is a petulant child and his departure is guaranteed.

Correct. the VP does have a vote in all cases of a tie, as specified in Article I.

The VP has a vote in case of a tie in the Senate. The Senate is not involved in the House choosing the president.

Nope. They only vote once. They can't just vote and vote and vote.

Not true. Look at your history. When voting in the House it sometimes took multiple ballots.

If they only vote once and no candidate wins a majority there is no president. That leaves no solution to the problem. That is why they vote until they pick a president.

Any State can change it's mind, right up until Jan 6th.

I doubt it, but I did not say they cannot. I said they will not.

It's actually quite possible. Apparently you are really desperate that Trump is going to get re-elected.

Very remotely possible. Choosing the president will not go to the House because on January 6 the House will keep voting on any objections until they are all voted down and then certify the electoral vote.

I'm never desperate. I just do not want to see a coup overturning a legal election because the Trump supporters were duped into believing there was widespread voter fraud.

The Constitution is not far fetched. Neither was the Texas lawsuit.

The Texas lawsuit did not follow the Constitution. The Supreme Court is given original jurisdiction in disputes between states. There was no such dispute; instead, the Texas case tried to intervene in the internal affairs of other states. The Constitution clearly gives those states the right to govern their own elections.
